A light breeze off the land, meant a calm sea, with the match being fished from 5pm to 9pm and high tide around 8.40pm.
14 Anglers contested the match and with a total of 273 fish caught it was very competitive.
The majority of fish consisted of good sized whiting, dabs and pouting.Along with a few codling the best of which was 6lb.
The majority of anglers were using lugworm tipped with squid.

3rd Pat Sheppard with 21 fish for 556pts

Timmy Pepper 12yrs, with a good bag of Bream, caught from peg 6, on the pole at 9 mtrs, on sweetcorn fished over groundbait.

Another one of our young anglers with a nice mirror carp
caught form peg 20.

Nick and Eddie with a common and mirror carp caught with a
ledgered pop up bollie fished tight agaisnt the opposite reed bank.
