Our 3rd attempt to run the North Norfolk Team Challenge against the boys from down South once again came unstuck, maybe they really don’t want to take us on. With some handy Westerly winds with a touch of North forecast the southern contingent were having none of this particularly as there were other lucrative deals

With a touch of Winter and strong North Westerlies forecast the competition from round the corner and Suffolk thought it was just a bit too much for them so Trev had to pull the Avenue Angling Challenge as there was only himself left. Just as well as he had a touch of the rear end

The 3rd Round of this season’s North Norfolk Sea League was always going to improve the club turn out and this was the case with 4 club teams now participating. Fishing Cley in December is always a hit or miss occasion for this notorious venue and there was certainly a lot of apprehension as team

There’s great news for coarse anglers in the North East this week, as the Environment Agency have stocked over 15,000 coarse fish into several of the region’s rivers. 4,000 dace and barbel were introduced into the river Wear during the week ending 18th November and a further 8,000 fish were stocked at different locations this

In an attempt to improve numbers this club match was brought forward a day to allow some to check out new venues with the big boys at the Aldeburgh Blind and others to challenge the weed on Gt. Yarmouth North beach in the Mark Alsop. The plan worked as double the turnout from previous matches

Hunstanton Tackle has now got a community page on the social network “Facebook”. Designed to give information on local fishing in West Norfolk. There will be reports from how Springside Lake is fishing on a regular basis, and photo’s of catches in the area.
